Dear Neighbors, 

In 2001, I began this journey to move “the Ball” forward, and thanks to your support, today, we are successful.  

We focused on academic excellence for all, safe and comfortable communities, entrepreneurialism, regionalism and civic engagement.  Because of your passion and commitment, my vision of an excellent quality of life for all and not merely overall is becoming a reality. 

Your hard work, prayers, and encouragement helped to fuel the fires of hope as we marched toward responsive, caring, energetic and experienced leadership representing us on the Howard County Council. 

We could not have been successful without those of you who unselfishly gave and I sincerely appreciate that.  A new day is dawning on Howard County and it looks bright.

I won’t forget that this victory and opportunity is ours and I sincerely thank you!
